Terms of Service

Last updated: July 28, 2026

1. The service

Sendfeather ("the Service") is a hosted transactional email platform that lets you send application email (receipts, notifications, one-time codes) through an HTTP API and dashboard, and to track delivery of those messages. The Service is operated by the Sendfeather team ("we", "us").

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

2. Acceptable use

The Service is for transactional email only. You may not use it to send unsolicited bulk email (spam), marketing blasts to purchased lists, or any content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes the rights of others.

You must only send to recipients who have a direct relationship with you or your product. We may suspend sending, without prior notice, where bounce or complaint rates indicate abuse, or where sending threatens the deliverability of the platform for other customers.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure, and for all activity under your account.

3. Your domain and content

You must own or control every domain you verify for sending. You retain all rights to the content of the emails you send; you grant us only the technical licence needed to transmit, store, and display that content as part of operating the Service.

4. Billing

Paid plans are billed as monthly or yearly subscriptions. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, who also handles customer-service enquiries about payments, invoices, and returns. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT or sales tax, which Lemon Squeezy collects where applicable. Charges may appear on your statement under Lemon Squeezy rather than Sendfeather.

Plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Monthly email allowances do not roll over.

5. Service availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; material reductions to a paid plan will be communicated before your next renewal.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these terms. On termination we will, on request made within 30 days, provide an export of your message metadata before deletion.
